Coffee timeCollege Community Life

Community spirit is an important aspect of the life of the College.  Morning coffee (when staff and students come together); informal discussions over lunch; the various College Student Societies; sport and recreational opportunities  - all offer opportunities for fellowship and togetherness among staff and students.

There is a Student Common Room (with pool and table tennis facilities) and the informal seating in the dining room is a focal point for student "coffee and socialising".

The College organises an annual Christmas dinner; and there are other special events from time to time. Fuller details can be obtained from the Students' Sports and Recreation Secretary.

Students regularly come together for worship and fellowship.

PoolSport

Five-a-side football is normally organised on a Wednesday afternoon; and the College football team plays regularly against other teams. Internal competitions are organised for table tennis, snooker, squash etc. There are some regular joggers and an informal swimming / life-saving club. The Student Sports and Recreation Officer is always looking for new ideas for sport and leisure activities.

There are no classes on a Wednesday afternoon in order to facilitate sporting activities.
