BA Bachelor of Arts (Joint Honours in Theology)

Summary: In the BA degree, theology modules form half of a joint degree with a subject from another Humanities Department within Queen's. In the first year, candidates normally take 3 theology modules plus 3 from the other subject. At stages 2 & 3, candidates take 3 modules each year in each subject. The BA degree is a three year degree (full-time) divided into three stages as follows:

Stage 1

Plus one of:

Plus three modules in the other Humanities subject.

Stages 2 & 3

Over Stages 2 & 3 students take 6 theology modules - 3 level-2 modules at Stage 2 and 3 level-3 modules at Stage 3.

Students must take at least one module (either at Stage 2 or Stage 3) from each of Old Testament and New Testament.

The remaining 6 modules will be in the student's other main subject.
