BTh Bachelor of Theology (major honours in Theology)
Summary: In the BTh (major honours), theology modules form the major component of a degree along with a minor subject from another Humanities Department within Queen's. Normally four modules each year will be theology modules and there will be two modules each year from the minor subject.

The BTh degree is a threeyear degree (full-time) divided into three stages as follows:
Stage 1
PLUS any two of:
- Early Church History
- Introduction to Theological Thinking
- Introduction to Biblical Hebrew OR Introduction to Hellenistic Greek
- Introduction to Pastoral Theology
- Biblical Texts
PLUS two modules in the minor subject.
Stages 2 & 3
Over Stages 2 & 3, students take 8 theology modules - 4 modules at Stage 2 and 4 modules at Stage 3.
Students must take at least one module (either at Stage 2 or Stage 3) from each of Old Testament; New Testament; Church History; and Philosophy/Historical Theology.
In addition, students will take two modules each year in the minor subject.
