DipTh Diploma in Theology

Summary: The Queen’s Diploma in Theology is a two year course (full-time) and involves twelve modules, covering all the main subject areas within Theology.

The DipTh is a two-year course (full-time), divided into two stages as follows:

Stage 1

• Old Testament Introduction
• New Testament Introduction
• Early Church History
• Introduction to Theological Thinking

Plus any two of:

• Introduction to Biblical Hebrew OR Introduction to Hellenistic Greek
• Introduction to Pastoral Theology
• Biblical Texts

Stage 2

At Stage 2 students must take 6 level-2 theology modules as follows:

• one Old Testament module
• one New Testament module
• one Church History module
• one Philosophy/Historical Theology module
• any two other level-2 modules
