Welcome to the Union

Below are details of the various funding options available to undergraduate students. For clarification on any of these items please contact the College Office.

Full-time Student Fees

A new arrangement for student fees came into effect for entry in 2006/07 academic year and the tuition fee for 2008/09 is set at £3,145. Prospective students should contact their LEA/ Education and Library Board in the first instance. Students will be able to choose whether they pay the fees upfront or add their fees on to their student loan (which will be repayable after graduation and gaining employment).

Students enrolled in 2005/06 or previously will continue under the "old" fee arrangements in force at that time and will not be subject to the new fees.

Self-funding Students

Students who are not eligible for the Government Student Loan Scheme (including students from outside the European Union), and who are self-financing, are offered a concession fee for single honours courses at Union (2008/09 fee: £1,628).

Part-time Self-funding Students

2008/09 Part-time self-funding undergraduate students are charged a module fee of £210 (day module) or £149 (evening module) plus an annual Queen's enrolment fee of £227.

All fees are payable to Union Theological College and are subject to review.
