Principal Laurence Kirkpatrick is a native of Carrickfergus and attended Methodist College, Belfast, before studying Ancient History and then Divinity at Queen's University. He was awarded his Ph.D. in Early Church History from Glasgow University in 1995 and was minister of Muckamore Presbyterian Church for 12 years before coming to Union in 1996. Professor Kirkpatrick is married with three children. |
