Maureen Carswell is a graduate of Queen's University Belfast and for many years was a librarian in the University of Ulster. She was appointed cataloguer in the library of Union Theological College in March 2004 and became Deputy Librarian in 2007. She is a member of Fitzroy Presbyterian Church.
